The OKs, as they are known in DMs to each other, formed in Tucson in 2000 and relocated to the San Francisco Bay Area in 2009, where they love playing The Knockout, shopping at Thrillhouse Records, and playing pinball at Free Gold Watch. The OKs have three self-released EPs and one LP on Slovenly Records (that they know of). In the 2020s The Okmoniks have played fests all over the world, including recent Mosswood Meltdown, Funtastic Dracula Carnival in Spain, and We re Loud Italia appearances, and Gonerfest 21 in Memphis in 2024. They frequently gig with their favorite bands, past tours and shared bills have included The Mummies, The Spits, Reigning Sound, The Sonics, Gravy Train!!!!, Derv Gordon/The Equals and many, many more.
